Schedule of Events
Family Fun Walk
The Family Fun Walk will start promptly at 5:30 pm and end by 6:30pm. Please view website for course map direction and details. This is a family friendly 1 mile walk! (No zombies lurking so young children are encouraged to take this path!) This is a reverse parade and all are encouraged to dress up in your Halloween costumes. Please bring a bag to collect candy and goodies. All who have registered will get a shirt and a medal to show your big accomplishment. Please visit our packet pickup to collect walk bibs and t-shirts at the Smoketree Clubhouse (11100 Smoketree Drive, North Chesterfield, VA) from 4pm ā 7pm on Friday, October 13th, or from noon ā 5:30pm Saturday, October 14th. Medals will be handed out after completion of the course. Please be sure to display your bib so you can receive your medal.
Zombie Fun Run
The Zombie Fun Run will start promptly at 6:45pm. This run IS occupied by the undead. Expect jump scares, special effect lighting, music, and fun Halloween decorations. All registered participants will get this yearās Smoketree Zombie Fun Run t-shirt and medal showing you survived the spookiest event of the season! (There are rumors that a good costume may deter the zombies!) Please visit our packet pickup to collect walk bibs and t-shirts at the Smoketree Clubhouse (11100 Smoketree Drive, North Chesterfield, VA) from 4pm ā 7pm on Friday, October 13th, or from noon ā 5:30pm Saturday, October 14th. Medals will be handed out after completion of the course. Please be sure to display your bib so you can receive your medal.
Last Minute Registrations
We will be allowing same-day registrations however we cannot guarantee your preferred t-shirt will be available, or that weāll still have shirts at all.
Costume Contest
We will have a costume contest for anyone whoās registered! Please display your race bib in a location our judges can see! We have judges placed throughout the route.

House Decorating Contest
We will have a contest for the best decorated homes in our neighborhood

Packet Pickup
Run and Walk packets can be picked up inside the Smoketree Clubhouse (11100 Smoketree Drive, North Chesterfield, VA) on Friday October 13th from 4pm- 7pm or on Saturday, October 14th starting at noon. You can still register here if you have not done so yet. (Availability of shirts or preferred shirt sizes may be limited for registrations made after Sunday, October 7th)
Food and Beverages
šššŖ. Greater Smoketree civic association will be selling food and beverages out of the clubhouse for purchase the day of the event.
Weather
The forecast looks good for Saturday evening, but the event will happen rain or shine!
Parking
Parking will be available at the Smoketree Pool and Clubhouse. Please arrive early if you would like to park here. Additional parking can be found at the Church of Epiphany, North Courthouse Public Llibrary, and Monacan High School. Please allow time to walk from your parking spot to Smoketree Pool in time to start the run or walk. For maps of the course and parking locations, click here.
Lighting
š§āāļøš§ The run begins after sunset and it will get dark. To enhance your running experience, and help you see zombies, please come glowing! Head lamps or flashlights are encouraged.
Party!
DJ Luis will be here and heāll be bringing all the tricks! Expect some really fun special effects and lighting. Heāll be playing some spooky hits sure to get you pumped up!!! And stick around for the after party for some tailgating fun!!
