Survival info for those already registered for Smoketree’s Zombie Fun Run and/or Family Walk.

Schedule of Events

Family Fun Walk

The Family Fun Walk will start promptly at 5:30 pm and end by 6:30pm. Please view website for course map direction and details. This is a family friendly 1 mile walk! (No zombies lurking so young children are encouraged to take this path!) This is a reverse parade and all are encouraged to dress up in your Halloween costumes. Please bring a bag to collect candy and goodies. All who have registered will get a cinch bag and a medal to show your big accomplishment. Please visit our packet pickup to collect walk bibs and cinch bags at the Smoketree Clubhouse (11100 Smoketree Drive, North Chesterfield, VA) from 5pm – 8pm on Friday, October 25th, or from noon – 5:30pm Saturday, October 26th. Medals will be handed out after completion of the course. Please be sure to display your bib so you can receive your medal.

Zombie Fun Run

The Zombie Fun Run will start promptly at 6:45pm. This run IS occupied by the undead. Expect jump scares, special effect lighting, music, and fun Halloween decorations. All registered participants will get this year’s Smoketree Zombie Fun Run cinch bag and medal showing you survived the spookiest event of the season! (There are rumors that a good costume may deter the zombies!) Please visit our packet pickup to collect run bibs and cinch bags at the Smoketree Clubhouse (11100 Smoketree Drive, North Chesterfield, VA) from 5pm – 8pm on Friday, October 25th, or from noon – 5:30pm Saturday, October 26th. Medals will be handed out after completion of the course. Please be sure to display your bib so you can receive your medal.

Last Minute Registrations

We will be allowing same-day registrations however registrations will close once we reach our maximum amount for this event.

Costume Contest

We will have a costume contest for anyone who’s registered! Please display your race bib in a location our judges can see! We have judges placed throughout the route.

Packet Pickup

Run and Walk packets can be picked up inside the Smoketree Clubhouse (11100 Smoketree Drive, North Chesterfield, VA) on Friday, October 25th from 5pm- 8pm or on Saturday, October 26th starting at noon. You can still register here if you have not done so yet. You must have an official Zombie Run bib to be on the course during the Zombie Run. You must have an official Family Walk OR Zombie Run bib to be on the course during the Family Walk.

Weather

The forecast looks good for Saturday evening, but the event will happen rain or shine!

Parking

Parking will be available at the Smoketree Pool and Clubhouse. Please arrive early if you would like to park here. Additional parking can be found at the Church of Epiphany, North Courthouse Public Llibrary, and Monacan High School. Please allow time to walk from your parking spot to Smoketree Pool in time to start the run or walk. For maps of the course and parking locations, click here.

Lighting

🧟‍♀️🧟 The run begins after sunset and it will get dark. To enhance your running experience, and help you see zombies, please come glowing! Head lamps or flashlights are encouraged.

Party!

This year’s run will feature a bounce house, a 40 foot obstacle course and a spooky fire truck!

DJ Luis will be here and he’ll be bringing all the tricks! Expect some really fun special effects and lighting. He’ll be playing some spooky hits sure to get you pumped up!!! And stick around for the after party for some tailgating fun!!
